Young Learners Curriculum
Small Stars program is specifically developed for the needs of Young Learners. Young Learners are very curious but they can only stay focused for a very limited time before they get tired or bored and need to switch the activity. For this reason the way the topics are designed, the tasks are easy to be accomplished within one go.
The main goal of these studies is quality time to be spent with the child during which we are exploring the basic things around us, the world around us, and mastering basic skills to be proud of such as basic maths, motor skills needed for writing and tracing, crafts, songs etc.
Topics Included Into the Program
The program consists of 7 modules,
each one is for about 1 month of studies
How is the studies process organized?
Live Classes are not included into this program, yet sometimes we might have Q&A sessions with the care-givers.
You are receiving access to the materials, which include short topics introduction videos, vocabulary videos, hand-outs and print-outs, games, craft ideas, songs, tasks. You goal is to go deep into each topic and to explore it in as many details as you can. For example the topic ocean animals, will not only have the vocabulary to learn and play with, but also materials for tracing to train the motor skills, book to read or listen, even a recipe to cook. The beautiful part is, the tasks are no-prep, meaning whenever you feel you want to start a class, you open your platform, print a task, grab your color pencils and here you go. You are provided with the chat support, where your questions are answered as well as additional tips, ideas and techniques are offered. You go step-by-step with the speed convenient for your child, as we never want to force kids, we want to sparkle their interest. Most of the task have something you are invited to share in the chat - answer the question / have your drawing / sing a song etc. We are attempting to clear up the geographical boundaries so that kids can make friends from different countries, knowing we all are one.
Thankful Diary
We give special attention to Thankful Diary Practice.
Every day (when we can) we are recording a voice note message into the chat with the answer to the questions.
Through this practice not only a parent or a care-giver is able to have a quality time with the child to evaluate the day that has passed, but also we are developing the speaking abilities as well as the gratitude mindset.
Every day we are answering three questions:
1) What are you thankful for today?
2) What is something useful you have done today?
3) What are your plans for tomorrow?
As you are recording the answers to the chat, it helps to engage into the communication with the teacher and other participants, as well as to boost the ability to express things. Maybe the first day it is just a word, next day - a few words, next week - like the beads of the necklace, words are coming into the sentence.
What Skills are We Mastering?
The early learner can only stay focused for a limited amount of time. We need to be patient while developing the skill of staying focused as well as mastering the hand, which we access through tracing, writing, drawing and cutting paper for crafts. We are giving additional dynamics to our quality time through the catchy songs and movement. Usually kids love the songs so much, that they can’t stop singing them and always ask for more. Our main goal is to develop child’s interest for studies so that he can build his confidence and desire before we start the school preparation.

What Do We Need to Have Classes?
All the materials are delivered in a special secret chat on Telegram. You need a device to be able to access the material such as songs, PDFs, print-out. You need a printer, you can also get a laminator to make sure your materials last longer, yet you can also just use tape for that. You also need writing & craft materials such as
